To continue to support the work that we do, the Agency is looking for multiple full-time Child Protection Workers to join our team.

Child Protection Workers provide protective and preventative services that promote child safety, well-being, and permanency by conducting protection investigations, carrying out assessments, developing objectives and service plans collaboratively with children and their families.

 Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • MSW preferred, BSW or a related bachelor’s degree combined with child protection experience
  • Previous experience in child welfare an asset
  • Experience working with at risk children and families
  • Bilingual English/French considered an asset
  • Above average written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Acceptable Vulnerable Persons Criminal Record Check and Driver’s Abstract
  • Valid ‘G’ Ontario Driver’s License with access to reliable vehicle

Salary Range:

$66,447.10 - $89,133.54 per annum (Social Work, Grade 8)

Hours of Work:  34 hours per week
