Family and Children’s Services of the Waterloo Region is able to provide a wide range of programs, events, and support services to children, youth, and families—made possible through the invaluable contributions of our dedicated volunteers.
We offer diverse volunteer opportunities, including Driving, Mentoring, Homework help, as well as project and event support. You can learn more about these positions below.

Available Volunteer Openings:
Homework Helper
Homework support for children and youth facing learning challenges or dealing with educational gaps.
Family Mentor
Family Mentors will support the safety and well-being of children and youth by providing support, friendship, and encouragement to the parents or guardians.
Mentor
This position provides one-to-one support for children and youth through engagement in activities that help boost self-esteem and build social skills.
Volunteer Drivers
Drive a child/youth to school, access visit, day care, or appointment.
