Family & Children’s Services of the Waterloo Region's main office is located in Kitchener, with a branch office in Cambridge. We employ approximately 350 staff in a variety of positions, including Child Protection Workers, Children’s Service Workers, Resource and Adoption Workers, Lawyers, Maintenance Staff and Administrative Staff. Current Openings:
Child Protection Worker (Multiple)
The Agency currently has multiple Full-time Child Protection Worker positions available. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently authorized under the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies.
Unit Administrative Assistant
The Agency currently has a full-time regular Unit Administrative Assistant position available. The primary location for this position is at the Kitchener with coverage requirements in the Cambridge office on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an administrative role and demonstrated expertise in Excel.
Service Director
The Agency currently has a permanent full-time Service Director position available. The Service Director works on developing and maintaining the most effective range of services and accountable business practices possible in the circumstances to ensure that children requiring protection are protected, and that the circumstances causing the need for protection are alleviated; through these services to assist in achieving the vision and mission of the agency.
Technology Services Director
We are currently looking for a Technology Services Director to fill a key role on our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader looking to use their technical skills to make a difference for children and families in the Waterloo Region.
Service Director – Indigenous Services
As part of our commitment to Reconciliation, Family & Children’s Services of the Waterloo Region has established a dedicated team of staff members, both Indigenous and Non-Indigenous, to work with Indigenous families in a respectful, holistic way.
