Resilience Project Administrative Assistant

The Agency currently has a permanent full time Resilience Project Administrative Assistant position available. This position will work at our Kitchener location; however, the location may change.

The Resilience Project is an exciting project that endeavors to meet the needs of children and youth with the goal of building relationships between caregivers, peers, and community. The Resilience Project is comprised of 18 partner organizations who offer resilience programs ranging from art and music classes to fun activities for the whole family. The Resilience Project will focus on boosting the community capacity for enhancing resilience in our children, families, and community through offering innovative programming, collaboration of services, and support aiding children and families experiencing adversity.

The Resilience Project administrator will manage the day to day administrative tasks of the Resilience Project, including partner support, registration, research coordination, data entry, promotion, and event coordination & logistical support. This role will also provide general administrative support to the Resilience Project Evaluation and Resilience Project Steering Committee, including coordinating pretests & posttests, and coordinating volunteers for evaluation, booking meetings, emails, preparing meeting materials and minutes, organizing documents etc.

Qualifications:

-Post Secondary Education in a relevant field, such as, business, recreation leadership, or community development;

-Sound working knowledge of computers - Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel essential; Publisher and other design software an asset; experience on social media platforms are essential;

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong organizational abilities;

-Excellent customer service and problem solving skills;

-Ability to work from an anti-oppressive perspective;

-Ability to work closely within a team is essential;

Wage Range:

$40,673.55 - $49,030.88 per annum

Office and Clerical Grade 4
