A Story of Resilience: Belonging

Two sisters had been in foster care for at least six months by the time they came into the Theatre Players Program. None of the other kids they knew at school were in foster care and they felt like nobody understood them. From their first night in the Theatre Players program, they gave big sighs of relief: here they were with other foster children, and the teacher really understood what they were going through. It was a place where they felt they belonged.
