Skilled Foster Caregiver(s) – Agency-Provided Home (4 Children/Youth)
Foster the Future. We are seeking skilled foster caregiver(s) (single or coupled) to reside in an agency-owned home and provide care for up to four (4) youth with complex needs—helping them remain in their local community while working toward family reunification.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and a nurturing home for up to four (4) youth.
- Support youth to stay connected to school, community, and routines.
- Collaborate with the care team to promote safety, stability, and well-being.
- Participate in care planning with in-home clinical supports and your foster resource worker.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience supporting children/youth with complex needs is an asset.
- Able to work as part of a team; applicants may be single or coupled.
- We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds; comfort with a pet-friendly home is required.
Commitment
Minimum two-year (2) commitment required.
Compensation, Living Arrangements & Supports
- Annual remuneration up to $87,600 (non-taxable income).
- Reside in an agency-owned and operated home provided for the role.
- Basic living expenses provided, including rent, utilities, and groceries.
- Support services available, including 24/7 after-hours assistance.
- In-home clinical supports available.
- Dedicated foster resource worker support.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits and peer support available.
