Families in TRANSition (FIT) offered by OK2BME

OK2BME is very excited to announce our new group – Families in TRANSition (FIT).

Families in TRANSition is a program for trans, non-binary, and gender-questioning kids and youth ages 5-18 and their parents/caregivers.

FIT is open to all adults who play a primary caregiving role for a trans/non-binary/gender-questioning person aged 5-18. There are separate groups (by age) for the kids and youth that run at the same time in different rooms. If the young person doesn't want to attend or isn't able, the parents/caregivers can still attend the parent/caregiver group. (Caregivers can include biological parents, foster parents, stepparents, legal guardians, and informal caregivers such as grandparents, godparents, and extended family so long as they are part of the young person’s everyday life).

Please share our flyer and group info with anyone who you think may be a good fit for Families in TRANSition!

Please visit our webpage for more info about the FIT program, including a link to our online intake form.
