Make Summer Magic Happen - Send Kids to Camp
Imagine a place where kids can explore their interests, make new friends, learn new skills, and have fun. A place where they can escape the stress and challenges of their everyday lives and just be kids. A place where they can grow, thrive, and discover their potential.
That place is summer camp.
Camp is more than just a summer activity. It's a life-changing experience that can have a lasting impact on a child's development, well-being, and future. Camp can help kids:
- Develop confidence, resilience, and leadership skills
- Improve their physical, mental, and emotional health
- Foster social skills, empathy, and respect for diversity
- Discover new interests, talents, and passions
- Create lifelong memories and friendships
But not every child has the opportunity to go to summer camp.
Many families struggle to afford the cost of camp fees, transportation, and equipment. Some kids face barriers due to their location, background, or special needs. Some kids have never even heard of camp or think it's not for them.

Your donation to the Kids to Camp Fund will make a difference in the lives of hundreds of kids who deserve a chance to experience the magic of camp. Last year through generous community support, FACS Foundation was able to help over 170 children attend Summer Camp. This year, we expect that to almost double due to the increased costs for camp and the current economic situation.
DYK: the average cost for sending one child to camp for a week has increased form $325 to $350.
