24th Anniversary CHYM 96.7 Tree Of Hope Radiothon
For one special day, CHYM 96.7 devotes hours of programming to support Family & Children’s Services
Tune your radio to CHYM 96.7 on December 1st, from 6am - 6pm to hear the heart-warming stories of children and youth who have benefited from the services of Family and Children’s Services. Listeners are invited to hear stories of bravery, hardships, and triumphs — and the special people in this community making miracles happen.
The day kicks off with the powerhouse morning team of Adele, Tara and Cash broadcasting live from CF Fairview Park Mall and wraps-up with afternoon personality, Sandra. It’s a day of sharing inspiring stories about how children and youth from our community have benefited from community support of Family and Children’s Services – not just during the holiday season, but all year round.
Participating in the Tree of Hope year after year has been a memorable experience for all of the CHYM radio hosts. Read what the CHYM Hosts have to say about being part of the CHYM Tree of Hope.
“Tune in or stop by CF Fairview Park Mall to listen live!”
Pledges made on the day of the Radiothon will be matched - so your donation doubles in value! Pledges can be made in person at CF Fairview Park Mall (along the corridor between The Bay and the food court) or by phone to the CHYM Tree of Hope hotline at 519-748-TREE (8733). Every individual, service group or company donation helps to make miracles happen right here in our community!
Community participation is very high, with individuals and employee groups calling in pledges and challenging others to do the same; corporate teams accepting pledges at the Tree of Hope Phonebank; and people stopping by to make a gift, say hello, or just offer their support to the campaign. Together with our caring community, CHYM, dedicated volunteers, and our special Tree of Hope Ambassadors, we can do it!
Special thanks to CHYM 96.7 for continuing to open their hearts and their airwaves to local youth and families. In total, a whopping 360 hours of airtime has been dedicated to sharing the incredible stories of children and youth from this community.
Donations to the Tree of Hope campaign will continue to be accepted throughout the 2016 holiday season from November 20th to December 31st. Donate online, or if you wish, cheques can be addressed to:
