Provincial Child Welfare, Adoption and Residential Services Survey

The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services has begun its consultation process with the sector

An online survey seeks input from:

    • Youth or former youth who are receiving, or have received services from, a Children's Aid Society or have received residential care;
    • Parents, family members or caregivers who have had involvement with a Children's Aid Society or with licensed child and youth residential services;
    • Frontline workers from: Children's Aid Societies, licensed child and youth residential services, and other community-based service providers that work with children, youth and families involved with the child welfare system and with licensed residential services.
    • The survey can be found on the MCCSS website: MCCSS Website Link
    • Completing the survey is voluntary and confidential. You can skip any questions that you do not want to answer or stop answering questions at any time. You may save your answers as you go and return to the survey at any time. 
    • The survey will be available until October 14, 2019.  
    • Your experiences, opinions and contribution are extremely valuable and will give children, youth and families greater opportunities to succeed.
