Dress Purple Day 2020
Every October, Children’s Aid Societies across the province raise awareness about the important role that individuals and communities play in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families. On Dress Purple Day, we celebrate the community that cares for families and share the message that help is available and no one is alone.
This year, FACS Foundation is taking Dress Purple Day up a notch. Our Executive Director, Karen Spencer, and Director of Research, Development, and Outcomes, Jill Stoddart, will be GOING PURPLE if we reach our fundraising goal of $5,000!
What does that mean, you wonder? Well, they will be getting fresh new 'dos the morning of October 27th. That's right, they have both agreed to dye their hair purple to celebrate the efforts of staff and our community in raising funds and awareness for this important day.
If you want to see Jill and Karen rock a purple hairdo, please click here to make a donation, or sign up for a fundraising page and send your link far and wide!
