The Agency has multiple Casual Relief CARE Home Worker positions available within the CARE Home Program of the Children and Youth Services Team.
CARE Homes offer staff supported foster care for children and youth in the care of Family and Children’s Services. The worker will encourage, monitor, support and counsel children/youth living in CARE homes within the community; work in partnership with a multi-disciplinary/agency team to plan and facilitate skill building and activity based programming.
Casual relief staff are required to be available for a variety of shifts throughout the week, afternoons and evenings, and on weekends, Friday evening through Sunday, including overnight. Preference will be given to candidates who have more availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts on a regular basis.
-Child and Youth Worker diploma or degree preferred
-Related Degree combined with relevant experience in a related field
-Experience in a residential setting for children/youth preferred
-Current First Aid and CPR certificate and PMAB training certification required
-Valid “G” driver’s license and own transportation required
$24.0868-$29.8673 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
Social Work - Grade 6
