The Agency currently has a permanent full-time Unit Administrative Assistant position available within the Recruitment/Adoption Unit in the Kitchener office.
The incumbent will provide administrative support to Service Workers and Supervisory personnel as directed including; typing and preparing records, correspondence, reports and other documents for staff of the unit; maintaining service activity logs; maintaining open case files and the unit’s filing system, indexing and filing material; maintaining forms and office supplies; compiling statistics and producing statistical reports; providing administrative data, minute taking for meetings and case conferencing; occasional supervision of youth who come to the office. This position will also provide back-up relief for switchboard/reception as required, as well as other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Secondary School Graduation and/or Community College diploma;
- Sound working knowledge of computers, including Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel essential;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong organizational abilities;
- Ability to work closely within a team is essential;
- A valid Ontario Driver’s Licence required.
SALARY RANGE:
$33,139 to $40,737 per annum
Office and Clerical - Grade 4
