Looking for information about Family & Children Services of
the Waterloo Region?
Then we're here to help you. If you live in the Waterloo Region
(including Elmira, Wellesley, New Hamburg, Cambridge, Ayr, Kitchener,
Waterloo or anywhere in between) then we are here to help you.
If you don't live in this area, you can call us anyway, and we can
help you find someone who can help you in your area.
Here at Family & Children Services, we have workers who can
help you if a grown-up has hurt you. We are here to help you - and
we will keep you safe.
If a grown-up has done something
to hurt you, or scare you, you can call us and talk to one of our
workers. You can also call us if you don't feel safe in your house.
When grown-ups hurt children it's wrong, and sometimes it is abuse.
If you have been hit, or if a grown-up touched you in a way that
made you uncomfortable, we can help you. Or if you have friend that
you think is hurt or scared, you can call us and we will help. Even
if the person who hurt you told you not to tell, you should call
us. We will protect you.
It is wrong for someone to tell
you not to talk to someone if you are scared. You
shouldn't be scared. We are here to help you. Call us and we will
keep you safe.
