You can help us help children, youth, and families in our community. Twice annually we highlight the priority needs of the Agency in the Foundations newsletter. Currently we a have need for the following items:

• electrical outlet covers, child safe cupboard locks, door knob covers, smoke alarms, baby gates, toilet locks, blind break away cords
• lice shampoo and spray
• Clorox Wipes, household cleaning products, laundry detergent
• diapers, baby wipes, formula
• bedding, tupperware, storage bins
• first aid kits, band aids
• personal hygiene products (feminine hygiene, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, soap)
• Materna vitamins, Iron pills
• craft supplies, crayons
• food vouchers*, bus tickets
• Zellers or Walmart gift certificates

* The Agency has an urgent need for food vouchers and bus tickets. A gift of food vouchers helps us to provide emergency help to families in crisis due to extreme economic hardships, and avoid the risk of having to admit children to care.

Many of the families we see make up the working poor. They have exhausted all other available supports trying to provide shelter and basic necessities for their children. Our staff and volunteers do everything they can to aid these families towards their goal of protecting their child and building a healthy family environment, but often when a family is hungry nothing else matters.

We need your help. Your gift of food vouchers will help us to ensure that no child has to go to sleep hungry.
