There are many ways to show your
support for children from this Region; cash, cheque, and credit
card or a gift of stocks or bonds to name a few. The Family &
Children's Services Foundation welcomes gifts of any size. Gifts
can take the form of one time gifts of cash or ongoing pledges,
stocks and negotiable securities, collections or collectibles (i.e.
art, china jewellery) based upon appraised value, real estate, and

In Memory:
When a loved one passes
away it is important for those left behind, that the loved one's
memory is not forgotten or diminished, but rather honoured and celebrated.
One of the ways in which family members can honour their loved ones

Third Party Events: There
are many ways to show your support of the Foundation - but organizing
an event on our behalf is guaranteed to be the most entertaining!
Hosting a special event is a great way to unite a group to raise
money to support life-enriching experiences such as summer camp
or scholarships for vulnerable children and youth in this community.

A Gift of Life Insurance:
A life insurance
policy can be assigned in whole or in part to the Family & Children's
Services Foundation. The donor of the policy will continue to make
premium payments unless the premium is paid in full. There are also
tax benefits to the donor while alive, if he or she decides to make
a gift of life insurance naming the Family & Children's Services
Foundation as beneficiary.
Leave a Gift in Your Will:
You may wish to include
the Family & Children's Services Foundation as a beneficiary
when you draw up your will, or you may amend your existing will
to include a provision for the Family & Children's Services
Foundation. Your lawyer is the best person to help you draft or
change your will to ensure that your wishes are clearly stated.
Your gift of love will make a world of difference in the lives of
disadvantaged children within our community.

Join the Foundation's new Ambassador's Team:
The Ambassador
Team provides volunteer leadership for the Family & Children's Services
Foundation and the Tree of Hope campaign. Working in co-ordination
with the Foundation Board members, volunteers, and staff, the Ambassadors
Team seek to extend the ability of the Foundation to reach out to
the community to invite continued support.
