Needed!
Foster Parent Association Gift Wrapping!
We need
volunteers to wrap gifts in the mall!! So if you are creative,
and want to get in the holiday spirit, please call Lois
Keachie (747-1550) to arrange a time/location. Any number
of hours would be greatly appreciated. The two location calendars
(below) state the dates/times we need help. Please note each location
has a different schedule.
The Foster Parent Association is offering
this services in an effort to raise money for children in care.
Last year they raised a whopping $20,000
with the generous help of volunteers, supportive shoppers and some
extraordinary donations. This year we are hoping to double this
amount. The monies raised by Foster Parents and Volunteers goes
directly to children in care towards bursaries for school ($3,600),
school trips, trips to Europe, theatre tickets, etc.
